I am honored to continue serving as the Principal of New Tech Middle School as we enter the 2025–2026 school year—my fourth year in this role and eighteenth year in education.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University and began my teaching career in 2007. I spent six years in elementary education, primarily teaching 4th grade. In 2013, I completed my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Concordia University and transitioned into an Instructional Coach role for two years.
My leadership journey continued in 2016 when I became an Assistant Principal at an elementary school in Temple ISD. After three years, I moved to Lamar Middle School before transferring to Manor Middle School in February 2020. That July, I was promoted to Associate Principal. In the summer of 2022, I was honored to serve as Interim Principal, which gave me the opportunity to deeply connect with our staff, students, and the unique culture of the Gladiator community.
In August 2025, I proudly completed my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my loving husband and our three incredible children, who are now pursuing their own journeys—whether in college, the Navy, or family life.
Outside of school, I enjoy road trips and spending quality time with my family. These moments help me stay grounded and refueled for the important work we do each day.
As we begin this new school year, our focus remains on fostering a strong learning community where student agency, voice, and collaboration are at the forefront through Project and Problem-Based Learning. We are also committed to developing student leaders equipped with the skills they need to thrive in life beyond middle school.
It is my privilege to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of each scholar. I am committed to ensuring their experience at New Tech Middle is meaningful, empowering, and prepares them for a bright future in high school and beyond.

I have lived in Manor, Texas for 18 years and have worked for Manor ISD for 8 years. I love being a part of this diverse community, and I am honored to be an educator in this district.
I received a bachelor's degree in Management and master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. I began my journey with Manor ISD in August 2015 as a 4th grade bilingual teacher at Blake Manor Elementary. I taught 2nd grade dual language at Decker Elementary, and then became an instructional coach at Presidential Meadows Elementary. I am now proudly serving Manor New Tech Middle School as assistant principal. During my time as an educator in this district, I have gotten to know so many wonderful families that I look forward to working with this new school year.
I have a son and daughter who attend MNTMS and MNTHS. My husband is the head coach for boys soccer at MNTHS. We bleed blue!
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my family. We love traveling and exploring new campsites and hiking new trails. We are a dog family and have 4 dogs.

I bring 21 years of experience in education, having served as a substitute teacher, educational assistant, classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, and district leader.
I earned a doctorate and masters degrees from Lamar University. I earned my bachelor's degree from Texas State University.
I was raised in El Paso, TX by the most amazing single mom, whose strength and love continue to inspire me
I’m the proud mom of two beautiful daughters. Alyssa is doing a remarkable job as part of the Manor ISD Communications Team, and Kaitlyn is a senior at MECHS, making me incredibly proud as she works toward earning her associate degree. I’m cherishing every moment of this season in our lives.
In my free time, I enjoy researching leadership, spending time with my girls, and dancing.
I am truly excited to join the Manor New Tech Middle School team and look forward to a great year ahead!
