Principal Leticia Jones

I got my Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University and began my teaching career in 2008. I taught for six years in an elementary school, mostly with 4th graders. I got my Master's in Educational Leadership in 2013 from Concordia University and moved into an Instructional Coach position for two years. I got my first assistant principal job in Temple ISD at an elementary school in 2016 for three years. After that, I moved up to Lamar Middle School in Temple and transferred to Manor Middle School in February 2020. I moved into the Associate Principal position in July 2020 and have been a proud Pony ever since.

I am a proud mom of three children that have now all officially graduated from high school as of May 28, 2022. I have a loving husband who supports me in all of my goals and currently supports me as I begin year two of my doctoral program. In my spare time, I love to travel and spend time with my family.

As we begin this 24/25 school year, I am humbled at the experience of being the Interim Principal of this wonderful school. I will focus on building a community of learners that promote student agency and collaboration with their peers through Project/Problem Based Learning. I look forward to supporting the academic, social and emotional growth of your scholars. As a New Tech community, we will work hard to provide the highest quality education for your scholars that supports continuous growth into their promising future.

Assistant Principal Tonya Williams

I am a southerner at heart and am originally from Baton Rouge, LA.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Southern University A&M College - Baton Rouge, my teaching certification from Metropolitan State University - Denver, and my masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin.

My teacher career began in Denver, Colorado teaching high school as a Special Education Teacher and a Humanities Teacher. Upon leaving Denver and moving to Austin, TX where I worked as a Special Education Teacher at the middle school level with Austin ISD. While teaching middle school, I was nominated for the principalship program and served as an instructional coach for one year. I have been an assistant principal with Austin ISD for three years and was most recently asked to serve as a coaching consultant training aspiring assistant principals through the University of Texas at Austin Principalship Program. Additionally, I am a proud member of the Central Austin Area Black School Educators Organization (CAASBE).

My motto is not to be impressive but impactful. I am passionate about ensuring all scholars receive an equitable and excellent education. There is an indescribable joy that I feel when I am helping scholars shine and achieve their best.

My biggest cheerleaders are my husband and two children. In my spare time, I enjoy jogging, listening to podcasts, going to the movies, catching up with family and friends, and traveling to LA to eat gumbo and po-boys.

I have lived in Manor, Texas for 18 years and have worked for Manor ISD for 8 years. I love being a part of this diverse community, and I am honored to be an educator in this district.

I received a bachelor's degree in Management and master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. I began my journey with Manor ISD in August 2015 as a 4th grade bilingual teacher at Blake Manor Elementary. I taught 2nd grade dual language at Decker Elementary, and then became an instructional coach at Presidential Meadows Elementary. I am now proudly serving Manor New Tech Middle School as assistant principal. During my time as an educator in this district, I have gotten to know so many wonderful families that I look forward to working with this new school year.

I have a son and daughter who attend MNTMS and MNTHS. My husband is the head coach for boys soccer at MNTHS. We bleed blue!

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my family. We love traveling and exploring new campsites and hiking new trails. We are a dog family and have 4 dogs.
